Volunteering as a Guardian Angel – How to Get Started!
Step 1 – Fill out our GA Volunteer Application and click submit. We will send you a confirmation email with further instructions, including how to sign up for our online volunteer portal where you will be able to update your information and track your volunteer hours.
Step 2 – Fill out a fingerprint background check form (Section 5 only) and bring two copies with you to LiveScan: GA Live Scan Request Form. This form will also be emailed to you when you receive your initial confirmation email.
Step 3 – Get a TB test, or results from a recent test you had within the last three months.
Step 4 – Once we receive your background check clearance from LiveScan, we will contact you to schedule a quick one hour orientation at our office.
Step 5 – Begin volunteering!
